I love the sea and it loves me in return,
In my heart the happy memories burn.
I found these gifts on the shores of a place I love, the Massachusetts Coast of Cape Cod
A happy place full of good times and lobster roasts,
of Adirondack chairs, old barns and hand-made fishing nets,
The brutal cold, the glowing autumn trees, the summer's heat, all make for a place to rest.
I keep this in my pocket, this happy dream,
of coastal living with love in between.
As fresh as a fisherman's catch,
As tight as a Cape house's latch,
